Get Involved!
We are always looking for volunteers that are committed and passionate about seeking justice for our communities.
Know Your Rights Canvassing
Help immigrant families in our community know their rights! Join us in the field or take materials to your own neighborhood — however you can show up, it matters.
Canvass With Us
Join TRP staff and fellow community members every other Thursday from 1–3pm as we canvass Chicago neighborhoods together, sharing Know Your Rights materials door-to-door and connecting families with resources.
Canvass On Your Own
Pick up Know Your Rights materials from TRP and canvass an immigrant neighborhood near you, on your own schedule.
Volunteer at a Legal Assistance Workshop
The Resurrection Project, through the Immigrant Legal Support Program, hosts weekly pro se immigration legal assistance workshops.
At the workshops, volunteers are needed to assist in conducting legal screenings, application preparation, and logistical support.
Training available upon registration.
Volunteer at our In-House Legal Clinic
Our clinic provides consultations to community members on immigration cases like citizenship, family petitions, DACA, adjustment of status, and more.
Visit our “Legal Clinic” page to learn more.
Pro bono attorney or law student volunteers are needed to help with legal screenings. Depending on language capacity and expertise, non attorney volunteers assist with DACA renewal and naturalization applications or other immigration cases, and translation.
