Immigration Legal Assistance Workshops

Immigrant-serving organizations across the state provide free immigration assistance workshops to eligible immigrants living in Illinois.

At the workshop, you will be able to speak with a legal representative who will review your case and options for immigration relief.

You may also receive assistance to complete certain immigration benefit applications if you are eligible, such as:

  • Work permits

  • Temporary Protected Status

  • Asylum

  • Change of Venue and Change of Address

You may also be referred directly to a nonprofit immigration legal service provider for one-on-one support.

If you have already attended a workshop and have questions about the status of your application or need additional assistance, call 312-668-0114 Monday–Friday, 12 pm – 4 pm CST and see the FAQ page.
